are you a vegetarian ?

Because of the global warming issue, ECO businesses have been getting more popular than ever. While everyone is focusing on environmental protection, some people decided to become vegetarians.
It is believed that reducing meat consumption correlates with reduction of CO2 content in the atmosphere.
On top of that, these vegetarians fundamentally don't want to slaughter animals.

My question is... Why don't you just give up using leather and fur as well?
The logic is that the source of leather is animal skin. In order to produce the leather, animals are also being killed. As you can see, there is a strong contradiction between using leather and yet want to be an animal-friendly person. In fact, as the more leather you demand, the market supply will also increase. This is a simple economics concept. At the end, you are still being an animal slaughter.

There is a celebrity who is a well-known vegetarian; however, she always carries the handbags and heels of the newest season. These handbags and heels are all made by leathers. I honestly wonder how dare she to announce that "I'm a vegetarian" unflinchingly.
